DRUMMM comes to PASIC, Nov. 10-13 (Indianapolis, IN)


DRUMMM's founder Jeni Swerdlow, MA, ATR will be leading an interactive drumming presentation at this year's Percussive Arts Society's International Conference (PASIC) in Indianapolis, Indiana. Swerdlow will demonstrate effective strategies for engaging children in rhythm for education and recreation, based on her many years of experience working with kids and groups. The presentation will take place on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 3pm.

Drummm Circle hits L.A!


Tuesday September 7, 2010 @ 6:30-8pm--DRUMMM founder Jeni Swerdlow, MA, ATR will be the guest facilitator at the weekly FREE Community Drum Circle at REMO Recreational Music Center in North Hollywood, CA. No experience necessary. All ages and levels welcome! Drums provided by REMO.

DRUMMM Celebrates 10 Years of Rhythm!

DRUMMM Rhythmic Events is turning the BIG 1-0 this August! Since 2000, DRUMMM has continuously provided innovative, facilitated Drummm Circle programs for corporate and community events throughout the U.S. and beyond. DRUMMM makes drumming accessible, engaging, meaningful, and playfully challenging for any group or event.

Beginning Drummers:

This hands-on journey into the healing powers of yoga and sound will utilize an array of large and small drums and percussion instruments from around the world. The workshop will explore deep meditation through the practice of asana, pranayama, and the textures and dynamics of music. 2/17 Drum Circle for Haiti: A Hands-On Fundraiser @ La Pena (Berkeley, CA)
Doors open @ 7pm. Drum Circle @ 7:30-9:30pm

Join us in an evening of drumming for our Haitian sisters and brothers. All donations go to Direct Relief International (www.directrelief.org)--100% of their proceeds go towards medical aid in Haiti.
All ages are welcome to participate. No prior drumming experience is necessary. Bring a drum or percussion instrument if you have one, there will be some drums provided. Enter the raffle to win a REMO Festival Djembe!

2/23 WORKSHOP: Music for Minors II presents: Drummm Workshop--"Rhythm Facilitation Training for Music Educators: Fostering Learning through Rhythm" (Fremont, CA)

7 – 9 p.m.

-Learn how to express yourself on drums, and be able to motivate children to do the same!

-Explore rhythms, games, and drum circle activities that will engage and inspire youth.

-Enjoy a fun, stimulating experience while team-building and developing bonds between participants.

-No drumming experience is necessary. Instruments will be provided for use during the workshop.
